About Us Region 18 comprises Shasta, Siskiyou, Modoc, Trinity and Lassen Counties. Incorporated in 1942, the California State Horsemen's Association comprises twenty geographical Regions within three Areas (Northern, Central, and Southern) containing over 20,000 members. CSHA represents the pleasure horse industry and pleasure horse owners. Among the many benefits membership in CSHA includes, on a very large scale, is providing for a stronger, more united pleasure horse industry, to meet the challenges of local, state, and national legislative issues such as: ZONING ISSUES LAND USE ISSUES LEGISLATIVE REPRESENTATION TAXATION Issues important to each and every horse owner: EQUINE MEDICAL RESEARCH SCHOLARSHIPS FOR HIGHER EDUCATION LIABILITY INSURANCE UNITY OF THE HORSE OWNERS C.S.H.A.
